Protecting Your Health and Your Smile
East Texas Health Insurance is a local, family-owned insurance agency. When you reach out, you’re talking directly to someone local - not a call center or someone from across the country. We live here, raise our kids here, and plan to be here for the long haul!

No. East Texas Health Insurance is an independent agency. We work with multiple carriers so we can compare options and choose what fits you best, not what benefits a single company.
Yes. We don’t disappear after enrollment. We stay available for questions, help with plan issues, and conduct yearly reviews to make sure your coverage stays aligned.
Yes. Many people worry that private or Marketplace plans won’t be accepted by local providers like CHRISTUS Mother Frances or Hopkins County Memorial. We specialize in identifying plans with networks that actually include our local East Texas doctors and hospitals, so you don’t have to drive to Dallas or Tyler for every appointment.
Medicare is strictly individual—you cannot have a "family" Medicare plan. If you are turning 65 but your spouse is younger, we can help you transition to Medicare while setting up a separate individual or family health plan to bridge the gap for your spouse and children until they are also eligible. This ensures no one in your household loses coverage during the transition
It depends on the plan. Some dental policies require you to have the insurance for 6 to 12 months before they will help pay for "major" services like crowns or bridges. However, there are "no-waiting-period" plans available that provide immediate help.
